HVAC Installer / Start up Tech – Commercial Projects

Location: Marietta, GA Position Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Full time

Pay Rate: Up to $38/hr

Key Responsibilities

• Install and start up commercial HVAC systems: RTUs, air handlers, chillers, VAVs, VRF systems ductwork, split systems, copper, gas lines, etc.
• Read and follow blueprints, project drawings, and job orders
• Perform system startups and commissioning procedures
• Lay out, fabricate, and install ductwork and piping using hand and power tools
• Wire indoor and outdoor HVAC components (low-voltage)
• Maintain a clean, organized job site and ensure all work meets code and safety standards
• Track materials, tools, and job progress efficiently

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of hands-on commercial HVAC installation experience
  
• Strong knowledge of ductwork, piping, sheet metal, and system startups
  
• Experience installing RTUs, VAV, VRF, and central HVAC systems
  
• Ability to lift 75 lbs and work in various field conditions
  
• Start up and commissioning of equipment
  
• Own set of hand tools / have a clean driving record
  
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or on a team
  

Preferred (but not required):

• Universal EPA certification
  
• Journeyman Installer License
