Are you an experienced tax professional with a knack for navigating the complex world of high net worth individuals' finances? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you. We are a leading firm in the Accounting and Finance industry, seeking a Permanent Tax Accountant to join our dynamic team. This role will provide you with the opportunity to employ your skills in a challenging and rewarding environment, where you will be responsible for managing and planning the tax affairs of our high net worth clients. This position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in tax accounting.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Tax Accountant, you will be responsible for:
1. Preparing and reviewing complex tax returns for high net worth individuals, including federal and multi-state returns.
2. Providing tax planning and advisory services to clients to minimize tax liabilities and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
3. Researching and interpreting tax laws and regulations to provide accurate advice to clients.
4. Assisting clients with tax audits and negotiations with tax authorities.
5. Developing and maintaining relationships with clients to understand their financial needs and provide tailored tax solutions.
6. Collaborating with other team members to provide comprehensive financial services to clients.
7. Staying abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations to provide up-to-date advice to clients.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Tax Accountant position must have:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification is preferred.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in tax accounting with a focus on high net worth individuals.
3. In-depth knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret complex financial information and provide tailored tax solutions.
5. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
6. High attention to detail and accuracy in preparing and reviewing tax returns.
7. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
8. Proficiency in tax software and other accounting tools.
