Develops and implements Training and Development programs for Pierce Manufacturing and Frontline Communications team members. Supports the design and deployment of strategic learning programs across the organization. This would include but not be limited to technical-manufacturing training (safety, welding, fabrication, front line assembly, paint, forklift/material handling, etc.), training strategy, partnership with onboarding and upskilling talent and program design. This role will work onsite supporting training needs from the Pierce Manufacturing facility in Bradenton, Florida, and will travel to the Frontline Communications facility in Clearwater, Florida. Responsibilities include designing, developing, and delivering curriculum and courses in various training media, assessing training requirements, networking with production leaders to identify training needs, developing online and instructor-led training modules, tracking learning using LMS, collaborating across business units, researching and writing proposals, working with vendors and stakeholders to customize training, conducting on-the-job and new hire training, participating in corporate initiatives, supporting documentation standards, managing budgets, monitoring compliance, and facilitating training content. Minimum qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED equivalent and seven plus years’ experience in Training and Development/Management/Organization Development. The role requires up to 10% travel. Standout qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Instructional and Program Design, knowledge of adult learning theories, excellent communication skills, innovative thinking, interpersonal skills, project management experience, manufacturing environment experience, LMS and Workday experience, and proficiency in MS Office and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
